We didn't get any Santa responses but I think our prayers were answered. Our baby's surgery is not until feb. 14th...looks like we will be together. Thank you to everyone who prayed for us and let's still hope she gets through that surgery but atleast we have hope for Christmas. Thank you all for caring and merry Christmas.

Hello, my name is Shannon Smith.  I live in Nashville, MI and my neighbors Don and Linda Fosburg are members.  My childen won't be having a Christmas then I got the idea of talking to you guys from them.

A Baby' s Christmas Surgery and a Missing Santa!  Please help my kids.

I am a stay at home mom do to having 2 disabled children.  I do have 3 kids altogether.  My fiancé works but only a part-time job.  My oldest is 6 (boy) he was born with a few issues and has had 3 surgeries so far.  Despite that he is very energetic and creative.  He changed my life for the better.  Next I have a rambunctious 3 yr old boy who never stops.  Last but not least I have my 9 month old girl.  We just found out that she will be going in for surgery due to her soft spots closing.  Basically I want us to be together for Christmas but of course the kids want Santa.  I don't have the heart to tell them we are broke, cannot afford bills or even going back and forth to the hospital.  I don't think they would understand anyways.  If someone can help it would be appreciated and if not, understood....lots of people are in need right now.  Either way Happy Holidays to!

This was my original post but I think that too many are in need. This year I will donate old toys to goodwill and spend time on Christmas being happy with my family. All I ask is that people pray for my daughter. I will be praying for everyone else in need. God bless you all and Merry Christmas!

Hello, I am not sure where you live but I get diapers for my disabled son from J & B Supply Co. (1-800-737-0045). Some places use Airway Oxigen or Carelinc as well. All you have to do is call either your ins. co. to find out who supplies them or call around and sign up. As long as your child is over 3 yrs they qualify and get things delivered monthly. It really helps a lot I have 3 in diapers so it cuts down the expenses on that and they provide gloves, wipes and butt Crea for us. They have more available to you if needed. Hope this helps. This time of year doesn't stop your regular needs it just seems to make them stand out more. (Somedays more than others) I know I am not the only one in need and I am hoping maybe I can help someone too. My 6 yr old( well birthday is Jan 6) has hardly any clothes and my daughter is in boys or neutral clothes( handed down). I was thinking maybe someone else in need. Would like to trade? For my boy anything size 6/7 I will take. For baby girl I will take anything 9 months and up...they grow fast so I'll take larger sizes. Let me know if you could use boy sizes 2t and under or 5t and we'll talk.
